Explore the challenging, yet rewarding genre of portrait painting with your choice of oils or acrylics. A special focus will be placed on anatomy, color theory, and various painting methods and techniques. Each class will consist of a demo and one-on-one instruction. Series class. Let the creativity flow like the paint that is being poured! In this class, budding artists and their caregivers will be creating marbled pieces of art by adding paint swirls and lines to canvas.
Pretend your eyes are the camera viewing your world–first from your eye level, then refocus at “worm-level.” Special grid paper helps you look at your design from different angles using two principles of one-point and two-point perspectives. Andrea Czarnik, Artist/Instructor.
