SPECIAL PROGRAMS

At the Shiawassee Arts Center (SAC) we offer lots of special programs to get the community involved and excited about art!

Students are introduced to several types of art when they take a short field trip to SAC with our Guided School Tours. Creative Arc offers an art outlet for young adults with disabilities in our county and Wendy’s pairs up with SAC during the month of March for a Youth Arts Month. The Arts Center also hosts private Art a la Carte classes for adults and Art-themed birthday parties for children. The SMARTS Program (Shiawassee Mobile ARTS for Seniors) provides hands-on experience in artistic creation to dozens of Shiawassee County seniors each month.
