Middle/High School Workshop: Printmaking
Shiawassee Arts Center 206 Curwood Castle Drive, Owosso, MI, United StatesCreating monotypes. Using water soluble inks, unique prints, typically painterly in effect, are made by applying printing ink to a flat piece of plexiglass. The painted image is transferred to paper either by manually rubbing or using a press. A monotypes is considered a one-of-a-kind and does not employ repeatable elements.
