Photography is a never-ending adventure of the inner self to capture the moment, feeling, artistic spirit of life, and the world that surrounds us.
I have been a self-taught photographer since the early 1970’s studying the works of Ansel Adams, David Muench, and many others, inspiring me to travel and photograph the beautiful world around us. My passion for landscape photography has taken me to many interesting places in North America, Europe, and especially Michigan. My photography is to tell a story and to generate interest to the viewer that will capture their imagination of the unique moment in time.
I have photographed many different and interesting assignments as the likes of industrial machinery, weddings, advertising, portraits, graduations, charity events, and sports. In 2013, I had a great experience photographing behind-the-scenes-action of the movie “Standing Post” for the Red, White, and Blue Project, which had its world premiere in Owosso, Michigan. Also, I have judged photography competitions and have had my work displayed in restaurants, travel brochures, homes, and offices.
On the Right you see “Frozen Leaves”. “Frozen Leaves For-Mar Beauty” was chosen as a winner in the 2020 Genesee County Photography Competition. There were 20 images chosen as winners and will be used by Genesee County for all sorts of events and promotions for Genesee County.
