– Open to all artists 18 years and older in all media
– Each artist may submit up to 5-7 small to medium size wall pieces or 10-12 3D pieces (pottery, jewelry, fiber art. etc.)
– Entree Fee is $20 or 2 hours of volunteer time
– All artwork must be original and of the artist’s own creation.
– All artwork must have been completed after 2021 and not previously exhibited at SAC
• All artwork must be presented ready-to-hang, with a wire attached to the frame. Wires should be
placed between one third and one quarter of the way down the sides of the piece, and should not show
above the painting when hanging. Please do not use saw-tooth hangers.
• Artwork must not touch the glass. “Snap on” frames, corner clips with glass, or “easel” frames
designed for tabletop use are not appropriate.
Canvas
• Framed stretch canvas requires no glass as the canvas needs to breathe. The frame may be backed
with a dust cover and/or moisture barrier.
• Oils and acrylics on heavy duty stretchers with a 1 ½” or more gallery wrap do not need to be framed however, the
canvas should be stapled on the back and the edges should be painted or finished.
• Quilts and other fabric wall hangings must be ready to hang by method of a sleeve or other place for
curtain rods or similar hardware. All work MUST be labeled clearly on the back with name of artist, title of the piece, date, medium, and price.
– Please take into consideration that space (especially for 2-D work)could be limited due to the number of exhibiting artists, size and number of pieces entered. SAC reserves the right to final curatorial, installation decisions.
– SAC will assume the privilege of photographing or using images of accepted work for the purpose of marketing the event in professionally printed posters and postcards, newsletter, website, local press releases, newspaper, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
All Participating SAC member Artists
– 2024 SAC Featured or Consignment Artists are exempt from jury if presenting in the same medium but still must submit the online application form with with entry fee
_ NEW Artists: please submit application form with entry fee and three photos of your work for review and acceptance. You will be notified by email before 5pm Friday, October 18 if your work is accepted
– All Holiday Show artists, please submit jpeg of your piece for inclusion in our online store
– To expedite check-in PLEASE fill out Inventory Sheet and have Artwork Tags on the back of your piece prior to check-in
– Thank You
– $20 (for checks, please make payable to “SAC”) or 2 hours of volunteer time
– All artwork must be for sale and artist must determine their own prices.
– SAC will retain a commission of 35% for all SAC Members, 50% for non-members
– The cost of an Artist Membership for one year is $40.
A late fee of $10 will be added for applications submitted and/or received after 5 pm on Friday, October 11 .
