SEPTEMBER 22-NOVEMBER 5 Owosso's own Linda J. Beeman's "Always Emptying, Always Full" featuring the beautiful ancient water-based Japanese art of moku hange---woodblock print.  Elsie Artist, Timothy Higgins shows his whimsical metal, stainless steel, bronze, steampunk, sculpture work for the first time.  Longtime watercolor artist, Anita Saviko or Williamston changes things up with a wildly colorful display of her abstract art. linda-beeman timothy-higgins

Farm to Table Fun at SAC

Fourteen Owosso High School Culinary Arts students assisted with the Shiawassee Arts Center's and Owosso Public Schools highly successful Harvest Dinner on September 11. OHS Principal Jeff Phillips stated, "Our students represented OHS with great pride. This was an impressive, large scale community event that gave our Food Service Department and our Culinary Arts students a chance to shine." The participating students were Sally Armstrong, Warren Bueche, Dakota Figel, Raeanne Forrester, Kiarra Harris, Noah Hawkins, Briana Haynes, Cole Jocobs, Rebecca Jones, Hannah Miller, Garrett Root, Jodiah Sheldon, Payton Tyrrell and Joshua Wood. SAC was pleased to donate 50% of the proceeds of this event, $1,353.50, to the Owosso Cares Food Backpack Program!
