Call for Exhibiting Artists

The Shiawassee Arts Center invites exhibiting artists in all media to submit photographs, CDs or DVDs of their recent work by June 20 for exhibit consideration in the 2009 SAC schedule. One-person or group exhibits are on display from four to six weeks in three galleries. In addition, SAC Exhibits Director, Linda Hill invites artists to call for an appointment to bring in new consignment artwork. Due to the expansion construction currently going on at the Arts Center the Annual Juried All-Media Competition will not be held this year and the featured exhibits continue at Curwood Castle through July 13.

The Shiawassee Arts Center is located near Curwood Castle at 206 Curwood Castle Drive in Owosso and continues to be open during construction Tuesday through Sunday, 1-5pm. The Arts Center features the artwork of local and statewide artists, the Frieseke Gallery and a specialty Gift Shop. The public is welcome and there is no admission charge.
